ViPerCon - Virtual Perovskite Conference
When: April 4, 2022
Over the past two editions, the Virtual Perovskite Conference has strengthened its position as a meeting point for all the scientists and engineers from the perovskite community. We are delighted to host our third fully digital annual Virtual Perovskite Conference 2022 (#ViPerCon2022) that aims to provide an online platform to learn from the advances in perovskite research and related areas while working from home. The 3rd ViPerCon 2022 will offer the latest updates from the scientists and experts in all the major fields of perovskite, with presentations ranging from single-junction solar cells, memristors, tandem photovoltaics, and advanced characterization techniques.
Hybrid & Organic Photovoltaics 2022 (HOPV22)
When: May 19 to 20, 2022

The 14th International Conference on Hybrid and Organic Photovoltaics took place online from the 19th to the 20th of May 2022, and in Valencia, Spain from the 23th to the 25th of May 2022.
In these past ten years, hybrid and organic solar cells have shown remarkable advances in terms of efficiency and lifetime, and they are already finding initial commercial applications. As such, they present both fascinating opportunities and challenges for scientific research and technological development. The main topics of this conference are the development, function, and modeling of materials and devices for hybrid and organic solar cells, including solar cells, organic solar cells, quantum dot solar cells, and dye-sensitized solar cells, together with their integration into complimentary devices such as photoelectrochemical water splitting. Building upon the success of the previous HOPV conferences, the conference will provide an excellent opportunity for scientists and engineers around the world to discuss the latest developments in hybrid and organic photovoltaics.
The conference was led by world-leading invited speakers covering a broad range of the latest scientific advances in morning plenary sessions, and afternoon parallel sessions.

About tandemPV 2022:
Why Freiburg? As many know, Freiburg is the home of the famous Black Forest Cake, a material system as complex as a tandem solar cell (First results of a preliminary investigation are shown in. Furthermore, it not only serves as a perfect inspiration but also as the ideal diet for exhausting scientific discussions.
The workshop will take place as a hybrid event. It will be held in the event rooms of the brand-new football stadium of our local team SC Freiburg, close by to the Fraunhofer Institute of Solar Energy Systems ISE and just a few tram stations away from the beautiful historical city center of Freiburg. We are certain that this stimulating environment will give room for lively personal interaction and inspiring discussions.

International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Photovoltaics Stability

About International Summit on Organic and Hybrid Photovoltaics Stability:
Advances and procedures for testing organic and hybrid photovoltaic solar cells will be presented. Like in previous editions, the procedures include directions for shelf life testing, outdoor testing, laboratory weathering testing and thermal cycling testing, as well as guidelines for reporting data. Topics related with synthesis of new photoactive organic materials, dyes and polymer semiconductors will be presented. World leaders in Lab-Scale Fabrication and Industrial Manufacturing of Solar Cells will present their results and contribute with inside inputs.
6th International Conference on Perovskites Solar Cells and Optoelectroniccs (PSCO-2023)
When: September 18-20, 2023
Where: Oxford, UK
The programme will include a combination of invited talks, contributing talks and poster presentations in a meeting which will bring a broad spectrum of the community together to discuss and share knowledge on the latest advances in perovskite materials, devices and photophysical and optoelectronic properties and phenomena.
Educating young researchers is at the core of our mission, which will be enabled by the opening tutorial lectures, in addition to a whole series of invited talks by world leading scientists in their respective specialities.
In addition there will be a special industry day on Thursday 21 September to discuss the Industrialization of Photovoltaic Thin Film Technology. Speakers from industry will give updates on the progress made and the challenges faced in this sector.

“Slot-die coating is one of many methods that can be used to deposit a thin liquid film to the surface of a substrate. Compared to other existing coating techniques this method can easily integrated from lab to scale-up processes. The process results with best quality uniform thin film deposition across the length/width of the coating surface. This coating technique is favorable with a wide range of solution of different viscosities. The process is also suitable with roll-to-roll deposition. This method is of great interest among researchers these days for transition from lab-scale to pilot-level production. Currently, the main focus of research is to use Slot-die coating technique in the field of photovoltaic, OLEDs, quantum dots and many others.”
