University of Toledo in Ohio has been awarded grants from the U.S. Air Force to develop photovoltaic energy sheets that would live in space and harvest solar energy to transmit power wirelessly to Earth-based receivers. University of Toledo has decided to purchased Slot Die coating equipment from FOM Technologies to develop the solution.
