Danish Patent & Trademark office awards patent to FOM.

FOM Technologies has been awarded a process patent where slot-die coating is part of the process regarding optimisation and material research of wafers. Thus, the company continues to work according to a strategy of being able to supply research equipment for the development of future components within i.e. the solar cells- and semiconductor industry.

FOM Technologies has received the approval of the Danish Patent & Trademark authorities for the extraction of a process patent for research and optimisation of industrial production of wafers where the company’s core technology slot-die coating is a part of the process. Wafers are used within the solar cell- and semiconductor industry.

CEO of FOM Technologies Michael Stadi states: “We see many exciting application opportunities for our core technology within materials research. If we identify processes within industrial production of our focus areas that can be patented, we naturally search for these possibilities. Thus, we are happy and proud to have been awarded a process patent within wafer optimization”.

This investor news does not change the financial guidance for 2023 for revenue and EBITDA.
