The most efficient slot-die coated solar cell to date has been built on a FOM machine
Scientists and researchers at Germany’s Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie have reportedly developed a new precursor ink technique to improve film quality in halide perovskite solar cells.
They claim to have reduced ribbing effects in slot-die coating using this precursor ink in a small-area solar cell which achieved a power conversion efficiency of 22.54%. That is the highest certified value for a slot-die coated perovskite solar cell to date.
